When Jesus was on the planet earth, He knew that He would die and rise from the dead. He told His disciples this on many occasions. He specifically mentioned rising on the third day. So Jesus predicted his death and resurrection multiple times in the Gospels. He said He would die and rise again. For example it says in Mathew 17:22-23 that, Now while they were [g]staying in Galilee, Jesus said to them, “The Son of Man is about to be betrayed into the hands of men, 23 and they will kill Him, and the third day He will be raised up.” And they were exceedingly sorrowful. Now, after Jesus has risen from the dead, he appeared unto his disciples but Thomas, one of his 12 disciples wasn’t present,and they told Thomas that we’ve seen the Lord and he spoke to us. They had all the doors, and the windows locked and Jesus just showed up inside the room. He just appeared and they talked to him. They told Thomas about this but let’s see how Thomas responded to this amazing news. Look at this in John 20 and verses 24 and 25 Now Thomas (also known as Didymus[a]), one of the Twelve, was not with the disciples when Jesus came. 25 So the other disciples told him, “We have seen the Lord!” But he said to them, “Unless I see the nail marks in his hands and put my finger where the nails were, and put my hand into his side, I will not believe.” My friend, you may think oh I want to believe, I’m trying to believe but it’s hard to believe. Let me tell you that no, you chose to not believe. Thomas chose not to believe, you can choose not to believe. I’m telling you what the word of God says and if you choose not to believe that and if you say I just don’t believe that you can live that way. Deuteronomy 30: 19 says, This day I call the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live. That means this applies in heaven or in earth, over all of the earth, over any place in the universe. This is a pronouncement. I call Heaven and Earth to record against you this day that I have set before you, life and death, blessing and cursing, therefore choose life that you and your seed may live. God gave you the choice. Nobody can force you to do anything, nobody can force you to fail. Thomas said I will not believe. It was his choice and if you’re struggling with unbelief, it’s because you are walking by sight and not by faith. Thomas refused to believe what he couldn’t see or feel. Yes, our five senses (hearing, sight, smell, taste and touch)were given to us by God and are necessary to help us function in this life. But if we do not renew our minds to acknowledge the limits of the five senses, they will keep us from believing.Thomas said until I see Christ physically, Unless I see in His hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and put my hand into His side, I will not believe. ”Bible says in Hebrews 11:6 without faith it’s impossible to please God . Faith pleases God and God will meet you where you are. Faith can perceive things that the senses cannot. Faith is the [a]substance of things hoped for, the [b]evidence of things not seen. (Hebrews 11:1). Thomas made a deliberate decision not to believe. Unbelief is always a decision Thomas said I will not believe and some of you think oh I don’t want to be this way. I’m trying to believe. You chose to be the way that you are, you were taught to think a certain way and you have embraced it and you will not let go of it. you’re holding on to your own thinking, you’ve got the thing that will change your thinking, the word of God will transform your thinking, the word of God is given to make you brand new. Thomas said I will not believe and some of us feel like, well, it’s not my will to not believe. Yes, it is, you chose to believe what you believe. Nobody made you believe anything. you may have been taught to believe one thing. If you’re struggling with unbelief, it’s because you have accepted other people’s opinion. You have bought into the mindset of this world. You have hardened your heart to God by neglecting the things of God and you have chosen to be where you are. Many people don’t like that, we like to blame other people and say you don’t understand, it’s my upbringing that made me this way, you don’t understand I was abused when I was a child and that’s what made my heart hard. we have all ofthese excuses and we like to blame other people. Even Adam did it when God said what have you done? he said it’s that woman that you gave me. he passed the buck to Eve and then he tried to blame it on God. When Thomas said I will not believe, that was a choice of his will. He chose to believe that Jesus could not be raised from the dead. He saw Jesus crucified, he saw what happened
There’s no reason for us to be stressed out

In a world seemingly built on deadlines, demands, and daily anxieties, the idea that we could live completely free from stress feels almost radical.In fact, stress has become so normalised that many wear their perpetual busyness and anxiety as badges of honour in our achievement-oriented culture. But what if it’s not just wishful thinking to think that there’s no reason for us to be stressed out? What if there’s a deeper truth to this idea, a perspective that could fundamentally change how we experience life? Join me as we discover how faith in God can replace our anxiety with peace and how we can live free from the burden of stress in today’s message by Evangelist Paul Acquah titled “No reason to stress.” Let’s dive in and be blessed as you listen! I’m sure there’re many Christians who will say, you’re condemning other people by saying ‘There is zero reason for us to be stressed out’. I’m not condemning you. I’m telling youthat Jesus has provided more for us than what most of us have appropriated. Open your Bible with me to John, chapter 14, and in verse 1. This was Jesus speaking to his disciples the night before his crucifixion. He had just had the last supperand washed the disciples’ feet. Satan had entered Judas and he had left to go and betray Jesus to the chief priest. In John, chapter 14, and in verse 1, Jesus said, “Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me”. So, the night before Jesus was crucified, he gave a command. This isn’t a request or a suggestion and saying, ‘you lot, now try this, and I know that you’re only human and it may not work, but do the best you can’. No, he just said, “Let not your heart be troubled”. My friend, there is no reason for us to be stressed out. The disciples were entering into probably one of the worst times of their lives. They did not understand the full plan of salvation and they were going to see their master, who all of their hopes and dreams were hinged upon, arrested, crucified, dead and buried. I tell you, most people today would say, well, it would be totally unjust to tell a person to let not your heart be troubled when you go through something like that. If you aren’t bothered, if this doesn’t just distress you, if your heart isn’t broken, then something is wrong with you, and you’re in denial. That’s the way that our world has approached things today. If you tell people that we are victorious, and that God always wants us to triumph in our Lord Jesus Christ: when you come out and say things like that, which is what the scripture says, people will not agree with you. They will even be annoyed. There are large sectors of the body of Christ who will say, well, you’re putting down people that have problems. You aren’t sympathising. You’re supposed to get down and say, ‘we know that you’re suffering and we feel your pain’. Yes, there is a place for showing love and compassion, but sympathy actually empowers failure. To show true compassion: sometimes you have to use tough love and tell a person to get up and go at it again, you can do it. But somehow or another the church has got into where they really feel like empathising, and sympathising with people, but they don’t empower people. Jesus was telling his disciples the night before his crucifixion, “Don’t let your heart be troubled”. Today, most Christians would say, that’s not compassion, that’s not feeling empathy for people. They were going to see Jesus crucified. They were going to see all of their dreams dashed and here he is telling them not to let their heart be troubled? You may think that’s unreasonable. In today’s culture, there are a lot of Christians, and Christian ministers who are telling people to act differently from what Jesus did the night before the worst time in their lives, and in human history. Jesus is saying, don’t let your heart be troubled. In a way,Jesus is saying there’s zero reason for you to be stressed out. We are now in a situation that when you listen to the news, they are talking about tariffs and global economic uncertainty and there’re a lot of Christians that just think, oh, well, you should be bothered, and be worried, people are being laid off, people are dying in earthquakes and wars and they just, in a sense, empower these things. They say, yes, God told us to let not our hearts be troubled, but that only goes so far. If you are facing death, if you’re being laid off, if something is happening, you are justified in being stressed out. That’s the way a lot of people, including most Christians are presenting things. How did Jesus respond? The night before his crucifixion, he told his disciples, don’t let your heart be troubled. and why shouldn’t they do it? Because they believe in God, believe also in him. Faith is the answer to all of these things. If you have faith in God, you don’t have to be afraid. In the book of psalms, David said, “Though the mountains be removed and be cast into the sea, yet will I trust in the Lord; I will joy in the God of my salvation”. This is a powerful expression of unwavering faith, found in Psalm 46:2,emphasising God’s power and constant presence, even in the face of overwhelming change or destruction. It underscores the idea that no matter how difficult the situation may be, including natural disasters or personal crises, one can find comfort and joy in trusting in God. Therefore, there’s zero reason for us to be stressed out. No matter the situation, with David, we ought to be praising God. We ought to be saying, praise God, I know I’m going to win. I’m going to win in this life and if for some reason my faith wasn’t able to appropriate the healing, the prosperity, or whatever it is that is your problem, if the worst thing
How to receive more Grace

A sense of divine help, an unexplainable strength in the face of difficulty, or a peace that surpasses understanding?What you might be seeking is grace – God’s unmerited favour, His loving kindness poured out upon us. But is grace simply a passive gift, or is there a way we can open ourselves to receive it in greater abundance? Today, we embark on a journey to understand just that. Join us as we explore the powerful principles that unlock the flow of God’s grace into our lives, guiding us towards a deeper connection and a richer experience of His boundless love.In today’s message titled “How to Receive More Grace,”Evangelist Paul Acquah shares on how to actively position yourself to receive this precious gift in greater measure. Be blessed as you listen! 6 But He gives more grace. Therefore He says: “God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble” (James 4:6). The NIV says it this way: 6 But he gives us more grace. That is why Scripture says: “God opposes the proud but shows favour to the humble.” Notice here in James 4 verse 6, it says he gives more grace. If God can give more grace, then that means you can have less grace. He gives more grace and shows favour to the humble.That means for some people, they have less grace. But what is grace and how do you receive more grace? That’s what I want to talk about in this message. The word grace is used to describe a number of things in the Bible. It’s not only talking about God’s ability and his favour to us on an undeserved unheard basis. It’s God’s ability to enable you to do what you cannot do for yourself and that’s basically what grace is about. But in Romans chapter 12 it talks about the gifts of the Holy Spirit, whether you prophesy or you have a gift of administration, do it according to the proportion of faith that is given unto you. Those gifts are called grace gifts. 6 We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith; 7 if it is serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach; 8 if it is to encourage, then give encouragement; if it is giving, then give generously; if it is to lead,[b] do it diligently; if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully” (Romans 12:6-7). It says in 1st Corinthians chapter 12 that everyone is given the manifestation of the Spirit and you do it according to the grace that is given to you. So, the word grace is not only describing God’s favour towards us and his ability but it’s also describing these spiritual gifts. James 4:6 is saying that you can get more grace. There are different types of grace: A grace to be saved, a grace to manifest spiritual gifts, to prophesy, heal, do miracles, a grace to give, and a grace to serve. For example, there is a saving grace, a grace that is coming to everyone. Titus chapter 2 verse 11 says ’The grace of God that brings salvation has appeared unto all men’. Also, the Bible says in Ephesians 2:8 and 9 that ‘For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9 not by works, so that no one can boast. Every person on this planet has had saving grace come towards them that has provided a payment for their sins and is offering them salvation as a free gift. Every person on this planet has had that grace but you can get more grace. It goes on to say how you do it in James 4. It says in verse 6, ‘But he gives more grace. Friend, don’t stay only in your salvation grace. You need more grace. You need the ability of God – the manifestation of God in your life. You need spiritual gifts. So how do you get more grace? But He gives more grace. Therefore He says: “God resists the proud,But gives grace to the humble” (James 4:6). Did you know that the more you humble yourself the more grace will be given to you. Humility is not a popular thing in our society today. If you look at the people that are popular in society today, for example, people running for president: I can assure you that humility is in short supply among them. The people that are on our magazine covers, some sports personnel, the leaders in our society are the people that are boasters. They really are, and I agree that you need to have confidence and boldness but humility is looked at as being something that is weak today and it’s out of the normal trend. It’s not popular. As a matter of fact, you hear people all the time just promoting themselves and it’s all about them and yet this is completely contrary to what the Word of God says. It’s very important we recognise that God’s kingdom operates on a different system from what this world system operates on. It’s our responsibility as people of the body of Christ to say these things and to counter this culture otherwise people just growing up in this culture are being bombarded day and night with the internet, television, movies, magazines and all sorts of things. If the body of Christ isn’t standing up and speaking about these issues, then people just by default are going to be influenced by those things. This has happened because our society today operates in a lot of selfishness, pride, and arrogance. They’re promoting their own selves and doing things which are completely contrary to what the Word of God teaches. To humble yourself means your dependence on God, and a willingness to submit to God’s will and serve others selflessly. I want to encourage you because I know that humility probably is not one of the things that most people are praying for and desire and it’s not even a goal with even most Christians but it should be. Do not tolerate worry in your life

For the supernatural The insidious grip of worry, a constant companion to many in our fast-paced world, often feels inescapable. It whispers doubts, amplifies fears, and steals the joy from our present moments. Yet, the biblical directive found in Philippians 4:6-7 offers a powerful counter-narrative. It’s not a suggestion, but a command, a call to actively dismantle the structures of anxiety within our lives. This isn’t a denial of life’s inevitable challenges, but a radical shift in our response to them. God never intended for you to live in fear. You can choose to reject worry and embrace peace. Through prayer, thanksgiving, and trust in God’s Word, you can rise above anxiety and live with unshakable faith. In today’s message titled “Don’t tolerate worry in your life,” Evangelist Paul Acquah delves into the practical application of these principles, showing how we can silence the relentless chatter of fear and cultivate a life where worry no longer holds dominion. Be blessed as you listen! The Bible says be anxious for nothing. That means don’t worry about anything. Don’t accept worry in yourlife. Reject worry in your life. 6 “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; 7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:6-7). There’s assurance of supernatural peace. Cast your worries onto the Lord and experience Supernatural peace. You need to be serious with any worry in your life, and say ‘you know what, I am not going to tolerate worry in mylife. I’m going to get it over onto the Lord and keep it there’. God has given you Free Will and sovereignty overwhat you think about and so the Lord is not going to make you change what you think about. It’s up to you what you think about andso let me tell you something: If you have your problem, the Lord does not have it. If the Lord does not have your problem,you have the problem, or if you have the problem he does not have your problem. “God resists the proud,But gives grace to the humble.” 6 Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, 7 casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you” (1Peter 5:5-7) He’s not into care sharing. He’s not going to take half of the care and you take half of the care. It’s either you cast the whole of your care or none ofyour care. If you’re worrying right now, the Lord doesn’t have your problem, he can’t do anythingwith it because He’s given you Authority on Earth and He’s not going to violate your free will. So, what do you needto do? You need to forcefully just throw it onto the Lord and leave it there. The devil is going to come back to try to remind you about the problem. If the Devil comes back to you, what should you tell devil? Tell him that if you want to talk about that problem you need to talk to Godbecause he’s the one that has it. and the last time the devil was up in the throne room, trouble happened, he’s not excited about going there again. He will be running from you. Tell the devil you don’t havethat problem, go and talk to God about it. Fear involves torment and that’s the oppositeof faith. Worry is based on fear and fear always involves torment. We see that in first John 4:18 because it says that fear involves torment. “There’s no fear in love but perfect love casts out fear because fear involves torment but he who fears has not been made perfect in the love of God”. When you are focusing on your problem, you’re not focusing on God’s love for you. You can’t focus on God’s love for you and focus on your problem at the same time because if you focused on the love of God it would cast out fear. “He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things”? (Romans 8:32). Worry is based on fear so casting your care and experiencing Supernatural peace will actually lead you to be able to hear from the Holy Spirit about your problem because there’resome things that you need to physically do about your problem. It’s not like you just cast it over on God and he takes care of everything. Oftentimes there’s something he’s asking you to do but when you’re in fear and worry, you’re not open to get Divine wisdom. You’re not open for God to lead you but once you get into a place of Faith, or get in a place of Peace that’s when the Holy Spirit can show you what to do about your problem. Maybe you are worried about your current situation, cast it onto the Lord and you can hear God clearly. This brings out a story. I remember when the Lord told me to leave my job and spend more time for the ministry that he has given me. When I told my family that I had handed in my resignation letter, I don’t think they were overly excited about me not working but going into full time ministry. Around the same time, I realised that I had lost about $10,000 through a business venture that didn’t work. So, I began to worry about my financial situation. I even thought I had made a mistake and that I didn’t hear the Lord properly because I thought it was a wrong time to leave my job. I was so worried about it. I made a decision I was going to pull back on my giving to
Are you walking in your future now?

Before the first brushstroke touches the canvas, the masterpiece already exists in their mind. Every colour, every texture, every detail – planned in advance. Now imagine your life as that masterpiece, and God as the master artist. But here’s the extraordinary thing – you’re not just a painting waiting to be completed. You’re a living work of art, already set in motion. The Bible tells us in Ephesians that we are God’s handiwork, created for good works that He prepared in advance for us to do. Think about that for a moment. Your future – those divine appointments, those moments of purpose – they’re not just ahead of you. You’re walking in them right now. The question is, are you embracing the purpose God has set before you, or are you waiting for a perfect moment that may never come? In today’s sermon titled “Are you walking in your future now,” Evangelist Paul Acquah explores what it means to step into God’s plan today and live with purpose, faith, and intentionality. God designed you for good works. “For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do”( Ephesians 2:10 NIV). “For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them” (Ephesians 2:10 NKJV) All of us have a plan that God has bestowed upon us. You are not a mistake. We are his “workmanship”, which means that we have been made. The word “workmanship” signifies that which is manufactured, a product, a design produced by an artisan. God has specifically called you, planned you, designed you, and placed you in the place and the time frame in which you’re living right now because he has a plan for your life. We are God’s literary work – His work of art. A masterpiece painting cannot boast of painting itself. God has made us what we are, and in our union with Christ Jesus, he has created us for a life of good deeds, which he has already prepared for us to do. God has ordained a perfect plan for each of our lives (Jeremiah 29:11), but He does not force that plan to come to pass. We have the choice (Deuteronomy 30:19). This is a call to action, encouraging believers in Christ to do the good works that God prepared for us beforehand. There is a vast difference between being saved by good works and being saved unto good works, as stated here in Ephesians 2:10. This verse is preceded by Ephesians 2:8-9, which emphasises that salvation is a gift from God and cannot be earned through good works. 8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9 not by works, so that no one can boast. 10 For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. Good works do not gain us salvation, but they do affirm that salvation has been received into our lives. Good works cannot produce a new nature, but a new nature should produce good works. I want to remind you that if you’ve been looking at your own strength, at your own talents, at your own giftings only to try to discover the plan that the Lord has for you, then you’re wrong. Why are you wrong? The Bible actually says in Jeremiah chapter 10 verse 23 that Lord, I know that people’s lives are not their own; it is not for them to direct their steps. What a powerful statement that is. That should be an alleviating statement for you and I because it’s not about what we think is best. We are not smart enough to direct our own paths. We have an opportunity to discover truly what is our calling by going outside of ourselves and going back to our relationship with the Lord. What a tremendous blessing to understand that it’s not about me being smart enough, it’s not about me being talented enough, it’s about me being surrendered to what God has called me to do. Many times, the questions that rise up in our hearts is how do I know what God wants me to do? How do I fulfil the calling that God has for my life? I’m glad that you asked that question because it’s a whole lot easier than you think when it comes to hearing the voice of God. There’s been many times in my life when I’ve looked back and said that was the Lord, I should have known that, or I shouldn’t have done that because the Lord had warned me about that. We can see those things looking back but it’s important for us to also understand how do we accomplish, or fulfil the call that the Lord has on our lives as we look forward to the future because it’s so important that you take your calling seriously. Understand that the spirit of God living on the inside of you has so much potential to do so many things through you in the future. Having this understanding will motivate you to start taking the call of God seriously on our lives. God is always speaking to us. You may say well, I don’t hear the voice of the Lord. I want to tell you that you’re wrong because the Bible says that my sheep hear my voice, and they follow me. Jesus said that in John chapter 10. Many born-again people doubt the truth of this statement based on their experiences. They don’t think they can hear God’s voice. However, the Word of God is true, not their experiences. Because the Bible says it, I’m going to believe what God says not
No Regrets At The End Of This Life
A Sermon Delivered on Wednesday evening, April 6th, 2020, byEvangelist PAUL ACQUAH, Live on MZ Radio London, UK Life is full of many different pursuits and possible achievements, but as followers of Christ, how do we live our lives to reach our full potential so that, in the end, we will have no regrets? All of us have done things in our lives we wish we could do over. It may be an action that hurt us or someone else, a bad financial decision or relationship, or maybe some words we wish we could take back. All too often our lives are held captive by the actions or experiences that we regret. But the great news is that there’s hope for moving past our regrets. We must learn to let go of past mistakes, lost opportunities, and failed expectations to live richly in a present filled with hope of new possibilities. Maximising every day is key. Be encouraged to look at life now with the end in view in this message. Don’t waste your life. Live your life consciously and be aware that each moment you breathe is a gift. We must leave a legacy and fruit behind and impact our generation so that when our time to pass from this life to the next life comes, we don’t have any regrets on how we lived. We can live our lives to the full, being proud of the life that we lived, and happy with the life that we lived. Regardless of who you are, it’s imperative that you make sure that living with regret hasn’t become a subtle part of your life and how you do what you do. The Bible says in Isa. 38:1–5 that, in those days Hezekiah became ill and was at the point of death. The prophet Isaiah son of Amoz went to him and said, “This is what the LORD says: Put your house in order, because you are going to die; you will not recover.”2 Hezekiah turned his face to the wall and prayed to the LORD,3 “Remember, LORD, how I have walked before you faithfully and with wholehearted devotion and have done what is good in your eyes.”And Hezekiah wept bitterly.4 Then the word of the LORD came to Isaiah:5 “Go and tell Hezekiah, ‘This is what the LORD, the God of your father David, says: I have heard your prayer and seen your tears; I will add fifteen years to your life.’” So, here’s the thing nobody wants to hear: Set your house in order, for the reality is that we are all going to die one day. It’s not a question of if we’re going to die or when we’re going to die. The appointed time to the end of this life can be unexpected — it can be the most unlikely time. Throughout history, death has become well known for turning up in unexpected time. It’s the most challenging time of this life for us. The question is, what have you done with your life? What are you doing with your life? Is your life a blessing to your generation? Hezekiah reminds me of myself, and he reminds me of so many people because when it came to the time to set his house in order, what did he pray for? He prayed for more time. When Hezekiah was about to set his house in order, the only thing on his heart was ‘I wish I had more time,’ and so God gave him more time because God is gracious. God gave him 15 more years. But I just want us to be able to meet our end — being transferred from this life to the next life — without wishing we had more time. So, if there’s something that we need to do, we should do it today. The word that is dear to the heart of God is the word “today,” but Satan’s favourite word of all words is the word “tomorrow.” Today is one of the greatest gifts God has given to mankind. “We then, as workers together with Him also plead with you not to receive the grace of God in vain.2 For He says: ‘In an acceptable time I have heard you, and in the day of salvation I have helped you.’Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.” (2 Cor. 6:2) Today, don’t harden your heart while you hear His voice. Today is the day of salvation. Tomorrow is not the day. Yesterday wasn’t the day — but today is. Tomorrow can be a dangerous word, for tomorrow has robbed many dreamers of their dreams. It has robbed students of educational achievement and career opportunities. It has kept more men and women from coming to Christ than any other word in the dictionary. Let me remind you that tomorrow will rob you of opportunities to serve the Almighty God. What’s the first thing that a man needs to fulfill his God-given purpose? What’s the first thing that a man needs to live the abundant life that God created us for? It’s a day — it’s today. As simple as that sounds, every day is a gift, and it’s so precious. God gave us structure. He gave us a day, He gave us weeks, months, and years. He gave us seasons. They all begin with a day, and that could be today. This is God’s provision for our purpose. So the first thing that a man needs to fulfill his purpose is a day. The day God puts something on your heart is the day you should start moving in that direction. I’m talking about when the Holy Spirit has put something on your heart. He’s trying to lead, guide, and direct your life — but we do nothing. Now, if there’s one thing that’s going to be responsible for change in our lives, it’s when we take immediate action to do the thing that God has revealed
Looking Back At Life Without Regrets
A Sermon Delivered on Wednesday evening, March 30th, 2020, by Evangelist PAUL ACQUAH, Live on MZ Radio London, UK Most Christians find themselves living between the “regrets of yesterday” and the “worries of tomorrow”. Anyone familiar with the Scripture knows that this is not a part of God’s plan. In fact, the believer is to forget the past and press on without anxiety. You see, the not-so-good decisions in our lives can stay with us for years. And even after the effects have worn off, regrets can remain. It’s so easy to go back and relive memories that we aren’t proud of. And one of the biggest ways that Satan tries to get at us all is with regret. But thankfully, there are steps we can take to live without regrets. You can take solace in knowing your past does not define who you are or what God is going to do in your future. This is a message on maximising our time on earth by redeeming the time. You may ask, is it possible to live a life where you don’t have any regrets at the end? And the answer is, it’s possible. How do we do that? It’s about maximising the time that we have on this earth. And how do we maximise the time that we have on this earth? It is simply by redeeming the time. Redeeming the time is to take ownership of our time. It’s about not being distracted in life, but taking control of our time. That will enable you to live with no regrets. Let’s turn our Bibles to 2 Tim 4. I’m going to read verses 5 to 8. The apostle Paul writing to Timothy said: “5 But you, keep your head in all situations, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, discharge all the duties of your ministry.6 For I am already being poured out like a drink offering, and the time for my departure is near.7 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.8 Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day – and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing” (2 Tim. 4:5-8). “The time for my departure is near”. So, here’s the thing nobody wants to hear – my life is being poured out, the time for my departure is near, my life has come to an end. The reality, however, is that we are all going to die one day. So, it’s not a question of if we’re going to die or when we’re going to die. The true thing that I want to address is how we die. In other words, what legacy are we leaving, what fruits are we leaving behind to impact our generation? When our time to pass from this life to the next life comes, will we have any regrets about how we lived? It’s possible to live for all of eternity, being proud of the life that we lived and being happy with the life that we lived. Paul reminds me of myself, and he reminds me of so many people because when it comes to the time for our departure, what will we do? What did Paul say? What did he do? Did he pray for more time? Paul didn’t pray for more time, He didn’t pray that he wanted more money, he didn’t pray for all of the things that we may think are necessary to chase after, what we call worldly success. When Paul was at the end of his life, the only thing he could say was, I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. “Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day – and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing” (2 Tim. 4:6-8). If you were to be near the end of your life today, will you say I wished I had more time? When Paul was about to transfer from this life to the next one, the only thing on his heart was, I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. I just want us to be able to meet our end, or transfer from this life to the next without wishing we have more time. And so, if there’s something that we need to do, we should do it today. If there’s someone that you love, and you haven’t told them that you love them, you should tell them you love them today. Tell them you believe in them today. Give them encouraging words today. If there’s someone that you need to forgive today, then forgive them today. Live every day like it’s your last day. That’s how you redeem the time. Live every moment to the maximum and maximize every moment you have in this life, because this life is precious and this life is not promised. We’re not going to live forever. We have a limited time on this earth. And therefore, something that’s limited is precious because it’s not unlimited – it’s not like you can just get more and more of it. There’s a set amount of time we have on this earth and that makes it precious, so we should live with our end in mind. We can look back at our lives and not have any regrets because we all have seasons of opportunities in this life. Why are some people living higher lives, and for others, life is a struggle after struggle? They are always crawling. You Can Experience And Operate in the supernatural
Have you ever wondered if the extraordinary power that Jesus wielded can be experienced by everyday believers? The concept of Christians experiencing and operating in the supernatural, akin to Jesus, is a profound and transformative aspect of faith that has captivated believers throughout the centuries. Rooted in the teachings and promises of the Bible, it is seen that followers of Christ are not only called to emulate his moral and ethical teachings but to also participate in the miraculous and supernatural dimensions of His ministry. From healing the sick and casting out demons to performing signs and wonders, the New Testament provides numerous accounts of Jesus’ miraculous works and extends the promise of these capabilities to His disciples and, by extension, to all believers. Faith in Jesus can open a door to a life filled with the supernatural. I want to invite believers to explore and embrace the extraordinary aspects of their spiritual journeys. Be blessed as you read! You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world. This is how we know that we live in him and he in us: He has given us of his Spirit. In this world, we are like Jesus’. We are his workmanship, created to walk in good works. We are His ambassadors representing him in this world (see I John 4:4, 13, 17; Ephesians 2:10; 2 Corinthians 5:20). My friend, you can experience the supernatural and operate in the supernatural. God wants to work through you, but the workers are few. Christ is our model: He came to teach, preach and heal. We must do the same. 35 Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom and healing every disease and sickness. 36 When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. 37 Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. 38 Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.” (Mathew 9:35-38). “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature” (Mark 16:15). It’s vital to recognize that our mission is crucial. When you realize that there’s a purpose for your life at this moment, it doesn’t matter if you know a lot or a little about God. What’s important is that you’re willing to share what you do know. So, can you go and preach what you know with power? This is why in verse 17 of Mark chapter 16 it says, 17 And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; 18 they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.” If you are a believer in Christ, then you can experience the supernatural and operate in it as well. ‘In my name, they will cast out demons’. The name of Jesus gives us the victory over the forces of Satan. Perhaps you feel like you’re under the oppression of Satan. Jesus went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil. “How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and power, and how he went around doing good and healing all who were under the power of the devil because God was with him” (Acts 10:38). So, we have physical healing, healing from oppression, the name of Jesus, the power of Jesus, the life of Jesus, the character of Jesus, and the nature of Jesus. His heart is to set you free and lift you up. I want to tell you that you can experience the supernatural and operate in it as well. If you feel that there’s a spiritual reason for what you’re going through and believe that demonic forces are at work, I want to assure you that they’re afraid of you if you know who you are in Christ. If you submit to God, you can resist the devil, and he will flee. Therefore, submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. 9 Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that the family of believers throughout the world is undergoing the same kind of sufferings (1 Peter 5:7-9). So, let me ask you a question: how much do you think demonic manifestations, forces, or spirits of infirmity are affecting you? You have the name of Jesus. There is no reason for any form of demonic activity in your life, house, or family. You have the name of Jesus. You have the love of God shared abroad in your heart. We are so equipped my friends, to operate in the supernatural and win in life. And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons. We have an unfair advantage over unbelievers and over the devil. He’s defeated. We have an unfair advantage, we have favour with God, and we have the name of Jesus that is above every name. So, do you have a revelation of the name? Do you understand the power of the name? Do you understand redemption in the sense that Jesus went through so much so that you could reign in life? For if, by the trespass of the one man, death reigned through that one man, how much more will those who receive God’s abundant provision of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ! (Romans 5:17). Notice that you can reign in life. You might be facing some battles, and some battles require time, and I understand that. Some things happen instantly, while others take more time, but if you persist and continue to apply the power of the name and remain steadfast, you will reign in life. It
God Is Our Source
God is the Source by Evangelist Paul Acquah It is natural to seek stability and security in a world filled with uncertainty and constant changes. Many often look to external sources, such as careers, relationships, or material possessions, to fulfil their needs and provide a sense of well-being. However, there is a timeless truth that transcends the temporal nature of our earthly circumstances: God is the source. Looking through the Word of God, scripture after scripture proves that God is the source of everything we need. He is the perfect and on-time source for everything you could ever need or want. His supply never runs short. Although the world may offer temporary solutions and fleeting pleasures, God’s provision is everlasting. It transcends the limitations of time and circumstance. Therefore, be inspired to seek a deeper connection with God, to trust in His provision, and to live in the abundance of His grace. This article will help renew your mind to become fully persuaded that God is your Source. Your source is your Father in heaven, who never runs dry. When we talk about God as our source, you may ask what is a source? A source is a supplier of something that we cannot produce on our own. For example, there is a source of gas or electric power so I can cook. When it is dark, you can go to this small switch on the wall and flick it on, and then you have light in the house. This is because of the source of electricity entering your home. We have entertainment by clicking on a button while watching TV. Why? The source of power comes into your home. We can preserve our food in a fridge freezer and keep it cold. We can cook it on the stove all because there’s a source of power coming into our house, and we don’t even realise it in the day-to-day until there’s a storm and the power goes out. A storm comes into the area and knocks down some electric wires, so we do not have power and then we realise how much we need that power source in our lives. Our lives are filled with sources. A mobile phone is another source of information. This is because of the source of information technology in our phones. We don’t think about it until our battery dies or our phone freezes on us. We go to work, and we get paid and that allows us to pay for all the other sources in our lives. Sources make our lives easier, enjoyable, and more productive. However, the sources that we rely on are often subject to shortages and interruptions, and can be in limited supply at times. We rely on food sources, but if there is a period of drought, farmers do not have much produce. You’d go into a grocery store or the supermarket to get something and it wouldn’t be there because the source has run out. Don’t limit your finance and all these other sources to anything that you see. None of the so-called earthly sources are real sources; they are all channels. Your source is your heavenly father, who never runs dry. If you plug into His eternal supply, you will never run out. We need to consider the fact that it is the Lord almighty who is our source. If you really got a revelation of who it is that’s our father who has redeemed us, that would change the way you look at things and your expectations. Some people live their lives with such low expectations because they just feel like God is limited in what he can do, and so they look at other things as their source. The problem is that most people think they have to be their own source, or rely on another human to be their source for everything. Yes, God has equipped each and every one of us with talent and gifts. He’s placed in each of us the ability to do something of significance in this world. It is amazing when we are functioning in our gifts and using our talents to be productive in this world. However, when we strictly rely on our own gifts, talents, abilities, and ourselves as sources, we have limitations. This is because we can only do so much on our own, because there are seasons of life when our human sources have a shortage or an eruption, something outside of our control. Maybe you lost your job, and you can’t find another one. Perhaps you are going through a painful life season, a loss of a loved one, a bad medical report, or a hard or painful divorce. Maybe something is going on with your children or your parents and all of a sudden, your control of your source is limited. There’s a shortage; it’s gone now, what can you do? The sources are subject to shortages and interruptions and can be in limited supply, but not when you rely on God as the source of your supply. When you put your trust and security into something bigger than yourself, like God, it cannot be taken from you. Your job shouldn’t be your source. It’s a blessing, but it’s not your source; God is your source. Your wife and husband, as much of a blessing as they are – and you cannot picture your life without them – but they are not your source of security, happiness, love, and joy. They are not your source. A man or woman could never be your source of true happiness, and they will always fall short. Your children, as much as you love them, cannot be your source of joy. God is your source of joy. As much as you rely on your parents and love them and they look out for you and they’re there for you, it’s a blessing, but they cannot be your source. God is the source of your supply and
